Last updated: 13 June 2026

1. Introduction

This Privacy Policy explains how Valuball collects, uses, stores, shares and protects your personal information when you use the Valuball mobile app (on iOS and Android), our website at valuball.co, and related services (together, the "Service").

Valuball is operated by Valusport Group Pty Ltd (ACN 698 493 337 / ABN 22 698 493 337), an Australian company with its principal place of business at Unit 104, 17 Meredith Street, Bankstown NSW 2200, Australia ("Valuball", "we", "us", or "our"). For the purposes of data protection law, Valusport Group Pty Ltd is the controller of your personal information.

By using the Service, you agree to the collection and use of your information as described in this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

2. Scope

This policy applies to all users of the Service worldwide. Because Valuball is available to users in the United Kingdom, the European Union, Australia and elsewhere, this policy is written to meet our obligations under the Australian Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and the Australian Privacy Principles, the UK GDPR and EU GDPR, and applicable US state privacy laws. Region-specific rights are set out in Section 15.

3. Information We Collect

3.1 Information you provide directly

When you create an account, subscribe, contact support, or otherwise interact with us, we may collect:

3.2 Information from third-party sign-in providers

You can create or access your account using a third-party sign-in provider. Depending on which you choose, we receive a limited set of profile information:

We use this information solely to create and manage your account and to personalise your experience. We do not access your emails, contacts, calendars, files, or any other data held by these providers. See Section 5 for how to revoke access.

3.3 Payment and subscription information

How payment information is handled depends on where you subscribe:

3.4 Information collected automatically

When you use the Service we automatically collect:

4. How We Use Your Information

We use your personal information to:

Legal bases (UK/EU users). Where the GDPR applies, we process your personal information on the following bases: performance of our contract with you (providing the Service and your subscription); our legitimate interests (improving and securing the Service, preventing fraud); your consent (for example, push notifications and certain analytics cookies, which you can withdraw at any time); and compliance with legal obligations (for example, retaining transaction records).

5. Third-Party Sign-In and Revoking Access

When you sign in with Google, Apple or Microsoft, we request only your basic profile information (name and email) for authentication and personalisation. We do not access any other data from those accounts.

You can revoke Valuball's access at any time:

Revoking access may prevent you from signing in. To also delete your Valuball account and data, see Section 13. For how each provider handles your data, see the Google Privacy Policy, the Apple Privacy Policy, and the Microsoft Privacy Statement.

6. Payments and Subscriptions

Valuball offers Free, Premium and Founder tiers. Paid subscriptions may renew automatically until cancelled. You manage and cancel subscriptions where you bought them:

We do not store full payment card details. Our payment providers (Stripe, Apple, Google) process payments under their own terms and privacy policies.

7. Push Notifications

If you enable notifications, we use OneSignal to deliver them and to manage your notification preferences. This involves collecting a device push token and limited device information. You can turn notifications off at any time in your device settings or within the app. See the OneSignal Privacy Policy.

8. Cookies and Analytics (Website)

On our website we may use cookies and similar technologies to keep you signed in, remember your preferences, and understand how the site is used. This may include analytics services that help us measure usage in aggregated form. You can manage or disable cookies in your browser settings; disabling some cookies may affect how the site works.

10. How We Share Your Information

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it for third-party advertising. We share information only:

11. International Data Transfers

Valusport Group Pty Ltd is based in Australia, and our service providers operate in various countries including the United States and the European Union. This means your personal information may be stored and processed outside your country of residence, including outside Australia, the UK and the EU.

For Australian users, this constitutes a disclosure of personal information to overseas recipients under the Australian Privacy Principles, and we take reasonable steps to ensure those recipients handle your information consistently with this policy. For UK/EU users, where we transfer data outside the UK/EEA we rely on appropriate safeguards such as the UK International Data Transfer Agreement or EU Standard Contractual Clauses.

12. Data Retention

We retain personal information for as long as your account is active and as needed to provide the Service. When you delete your account (Section 13), we delete or de-identify your personal information, except where we are required or permitted to retain it — for example, transaction and billing records kept to meet tax, accounting and consumer-law obligations (which may be retained for up to seven years under Australian law), and limited information retained for fraud prevention, security, or to comply with legal obligations. We will tell you, on request, what we have retained and why.

13. Account Deletion and Deleting Your Data

You can delete your Valuball account and associated personal information at any time:

When you delete your account we permanently remove your personal information from our systems and request deletion from our sub-processors, subject to the limited retention exceptions in Section 12. If you signed in with Apple, we revoke the associated authorisation token using Apple's Sign in with Apple REST API as part of deletion. If you have an active paid subscription, you may need to cancel it where you purchased it (App Store, Google Play, or web) before or as part of deleting your account; we will explain the steps if any are required. We aim to complete deletion within 30 days.

14. Data Security

We implement appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect your personal information from unauthorised access, alteration, disclosure or destruction. Payment card information is handled by our payment providers and is never stored on our servers. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security. If we become aware of a data breach that is likely to result in serious harm, we will notify affected users and the relevant authorities as required by law.

To exercise any of these rights, contact us at [email protected]. We will not discriminate against you for exercising your rights.
